  • Wednesday April 21, 2021
  • 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
  • Dr. Rachel Smith
  • NC Museum of Natural Sciences/Appalachian State University
  • Audience: 8 and older

Come on an exciting virtual journey as we explore how scientists visualize space! Dr. Smith will discuss how she uses large telescopes on Earth to learn about forming stars across the Galaxy. We'll then make stops at some neighboring moons and planets as we venture to the outer limits of the Universe using new software called OpenSpace!
