Through an innovative partnership between the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and A Time for Science, the Museum has established two branches in Pitt County: Greenville and Contentnea Creek.
The NC Museum of Natural Sciences at Greenville has now opened in its new location with exceptional exhibits, mind-opening programs and educational events that reflect the relevant needs of audiences in northeastern North Carolina.
Our science and technology learning center and museum is located in the heart of Greenville. Here, we offer exhibits, science camps & fairs and other programs to ignite kids’ interest to engage in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and arts (STEAM) in educational and fun ways.
Our highly trained educators deliver hands-on learning experiences that reinforce and bring to life the concepts that are taught in the classroom. Each field trip is correlated to the NC Essential Standards and to the Next Generation Science Standards according to grade level.
FIELD TRIPS
Student programs at NCMNS Greenville are offered to rising Kindergarten–12th grade students. These programs are available throughout the school year and summer.
