Grades 9-12 (in 2018-2019 school year)

The Café Coordinator group is responsible for hosting the Museum’s monthly Teen Science Cafes from October through April. These cafes allow students to build leadership skills by working with café presenters and assisting in the planning and implementation of activities related to the cafes. Café hosting duties also include talking with café attendees, making announcements, and assisting with participant questions.

This group has three monthly requirements: group meetings twice per month and attending the monthly Cafes. The monthly meetings occur on Wednesday afternoons from 4–6pm and run throughout the school year. Students must also attend all of the Teen Science Cafes which occur on the first Friday of the month from 5:15-7:30pm.
