Bones & Muscles of the Body

How do the bones and muscles in a human body compare to those in other animals? In this class, students will learn about the skeletal and muscular systems of the human body while exploring these systems in other animal groups and discover adaptions for locomotion along the way.
Program length is 45 minutes.

This program is held onsite at our Downtown Raleigh location.

Scheduling Instructions: Scheduling is now closed for the 2024/2025 school year. Scheduling for the upcoming school year will begin on Tuesday, July 29 for programs in October–January, and Tuesday, August 26 for programs in February–May. A link to the scheduling request form will be added once scheduling begins.

Please note that only 2 adult chaperones can attend each program. At least one must be a teacher. Any remaining chaperones can explore the Museum during the program time.
