If you love amphibians and reptiles, then this camp is for you! Campers will learn distinguishing features for groups of amphibians and reptiles as well as field identification, capture techniques, captive care, life cycles, and conservation. This camp includes day trips to local parks and nature preserves and will require campers to dress in naturalist gear.
Campers will be given instructions on how to interact with live animals safely, with both live Museum Ambassador Animals and animals found outside. Camp Staff may limit campers contact with animals in both settings as needed due to the animals’ welfare and Museum safety protocols.
