Beaver Ponds

  • Times Available: Tuesday-Thursday, 10:15am, 11:15am

  • Class Size: minimum 8, maximum 26 students/per program
  • Months: January, February, March, April, May, October, November, December
  • Requirements: Must register for program at least four weeks in advance of your group's visit.
    Minimum age 3 years.

Learn how beaver dams create ponds where wildlife can eat, swim and grow up. Meet creatures that live in these ponds such as frogs, salamanders, turtles, and snakes. Program includes time for Discovery Room exploration, teacher handouts and a natural science object for the classroom.
Program length is 45 minutes.

This program is held onsite at our Downtown Raleigh location.
