Animals Alive!

  • Times Available: Tuesday - Friday, 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm (2 classrooms)

    Minimum age 5 years.

There are many kinds of animals in all shapes, sizes, and colors roaming our planet. They move in different ways, have various body coverings, and live in different habitats with a variety of needs. In this program, students will meet live animals, observe their similarities and differences, and learn about their habitats and needs for survival.
Program length is 45 minutes.

This program is held onsite at our Downtown Raleigh location.

Scheduling Instructions: Scheduling is now closed for the 2024/2025 school year. Scheduling for the upcoming school year will begin on Tuesday, July 29 for programs in October–January, and Tuesday, August 26 for programs in February–May. A link to the scheduling request form will be added once scheduling begins.

Please note that only 2 adult chaperones can attend each program. At least one must be a teacher. Any remaining chaperones can explore the Museum during the program time.

Scholarship Opportunities: Funding may be available to cover all or part of program fees for qualifying schools. Please indicate your interest in the Additional Information section of the Scheduling Request Form.
