Adaptations of Reptiles & Amphibians

Learn about some cool adaptations while exploring these two amazing animal groups. Students will investigate a variety of reptiles and amphibians through live animals, natural history props, and biofacts, and will discover what special adaptations these scaly, slippery, and often misunderstood creatures have for survival.
Program length is 45 minutes.

This program is held onsite at our Downtown Raleigh location.

Scheduling Instructions: Scheduling is now closed for the 2024/2025 school year. Scheduling for the upcoming school year will begin on Tuesday, July 29 for programs in October–January, and Tuesday, August 26 for programs in February–May. A link to the scheduling request form will be added once scheduling begins.

Please note that only 2 adult chaperones can attend each program. At least one must be a teacher. Any remaining chaperones can explore the Museum during the program time.
