Discovery Room Experience

• Times Available: Tuesday-Thursday, 10:15am, 11:15am
• Date Range: October 2024 - May 2025
• Grade Levels: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade
• Class Size: minimum 8, maximum 16 students/per program
• Months: January, February, March, April, May, October, November, December
• Requirements: Must register for program at least four weeks in advance of your group's visit.

The Discovery Room Experience allows caregivers and young children to engage in a variety of experiences unique to the Discovery Room. Meet an ambassador animal, try on costumes, use a microscope and more! This program is ideal for homeschool groups.
All ages are welcome, but materials will be designed with early childhood in mind.

Program length is 45 minutes.

This program is held onsite at our Downtown Raleigh location.

Scheduling Instructions: Scheduling for this program is now closed for the 2024/2025 school year. Scheduling start dates for the next school year will be posted here over the upcoming summer.

Scholarship Opportunities: Funding may be available to cover all or part of program fees for qualifying schools. Please indicate your interest in the Additional Information section of the Scheduling Request Form.
