Wasps — they have a bad reputation, but do they deserve it? What is the benefit of keeping them around? Join us for a program exploring the many native wasps we have here at Prairie Ridge — from how to identify them to what they eat, and where they nest. Spoiler alert: They really are our friends, and many are quite beautiful!
This program is for adults 18 and up. Please dress for the weather, bring water, a hat and sunscreen. We will be looking in the garden for some of these insects, so also feel free to bring a camera!
