Science Detectives: Computer Programming for Beginners

Join us for classes designed especially for homeschool and track-out students. These classes allow us to delve deeper into topics and incorporate additional learning experiences.

From scientists to game developers, computer code is used in nearly every profession. Demystify the world of computer programing by starting at the beginning! Designed to introduce basic coding skills through fun game-like lessons, this class is for those interested in learning valuable skills that are highly sought after.

Participants must be 11 years of age or older for this program.

Details

  • Fee: $12 per participant; $9 member participant.
  • Requirements: Participants must be 11 years of age or older. Parents need to remain in the Museum during the program.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the program, or if cancellation is made in writing via email to melissa.chernick@naturalsciences.org at least two weeks prior to the program date.
