Do you have a high schooler who loves spending time outside and is always eager to learn more ways to explore the outdoors? Join us for a one-day adventure into outdoor skills – from exploring with compasses to cooking over a campfire, we’ll learn a variety of outdoor skills while exploring and learning about the natural world around us!
This is a one-day drop off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation, intended for teens entering grades 9–12 in Fall 2024, running from 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, June 21. We will provide lunch that will be cooked over a campfire. Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors, bring packed snacks, and be ready to have fun outside!
This program requires registration and costs $35 for Friends of the Museum Members and $40 for non-members. Partial scholarships available.

Not able to join us on June 21? We’re also offering a Wildlife Science Day for teens on August 2!
