SUMMARY:Field Experience Fridays - Outdoor Explorers
DESCRIPTION:Do you have a high schooler who loves spending time outside and is always eager to learn more ways to explore the outdoors? Join us for a one-day adventure into outdoor skills – from exploring with compasses to cooking over a campfire\, we’ll learn a variety of outdoor skills while exploring and learning about the natural world around us! \nThis is a one-day drop off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation\, intended for teens entering grades 9–12 in Fall 2024\, running from 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday\, June 21. We will provide lunch that will be cooked over a campfire. Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors\, bring packed snacks\, and be ready to have fun outside! \nThis program requires registration and costs $35 for Friends of the Museum Members and $40 for non-members.
