Field Experience Fridays – Exploring Entomologists!

  • Friday, August 09, 2024
  • 8:30am - 2:00pm

During the summers, Prairie Ridge is ALIVE with insects, from bees to butterflies to beetles, and everything in between. During this one-day entomology deep dive, we’ll explore different methods that scientists use to study insects, while getting up close and personal with some of our local favorites!

This is a one-day drop off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation intended for children entering grades 3 through 5 in Fall 2024, running from 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, August 9th. Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors, bring a packed snack and lunch, and be ready to have fun outside!

This program requires registration and costs $35 for Friends of the Museum Members and $40 for non-members. Partial scholarships available.
