SUMMARY:Field Experience Fridays - Entomology Explorers
DESCRIPTION:During summer\, Prairie Ridge is alive with insects\, from bees to butterflies to beetles\, and everything in between. During this one-day entomology deep dive\, we’ll explore different methods that scientists use to study insects\, while getting up close and personal with some of our local favorites! \nThis is a one-day drop-off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation intended for children entering grades 3–5 this fall (2024). Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors\, bring a packed snack and lunch\, and be ready to have fun outside! \nThis program requires registration and costs $35 for Friends of the Museum Members and $40 for non-members.
