Deb has over 30 years of experience in clinical and research laboratories, pharmaceutical AIDS research, medical ethics on an independent research review board, and science education. Recent projects at the Museum range from classes in Immunology and Cell Biology, to the Chemistry of Twinkies. She is a nature artist and freelance writer, having written CliffsNotes, science articles for Boys’ Life magazine, and entries for the Encarta World English Dictionary. In 2017, she authored a book of essays: "A Colonial Williamsburg Love Affair: Tales, Takes, and Tips From a Lifetime of Visits."
