Education

  • B.S. in Medical Laboratory Technology, University of Connecticut, 1977

Deb has over 40 years of experience in clinical and research laboratories, pharmaceutical AIDS research, medical ethics on an independent research review board, and science education. Recent projects at the Museum range from exhibit hall programs on deep-sea wreck sites, and the Trojan Horse vs the Blood-Brain Barrier, as well as Museum mystery hunts. She is a nature artist and freelance writer, having written CliffsNotes, science articles for Boys’ Life magazine, and entries for the Encarta World English Dictionary. In 2017, she authored a book of essays: "A Colonial Williamsburg Love Affair: Tales, Takes, and Tips From a Lifetime of Visits."
