What is the Investigate Lab?
The Investigate Lab is a hands-on science education lab where the public is encouraged to discover nature through various means such as microscopes, experiments related to chemistry, nature, and various physical science topics. Visitors explore the lab in a self-guided manner, with staff present to answer any questions they may have. Up to seven different hands-on activities are available during public hours. While the topics presented in the lab are targeted at middle school students and up, younger children will work with their adults and make connections for their budding minds.

Interns are assigned projects to complete and are often awarded credit hours by their institutions.
