Museum Staff Connects With Students on Climate Change and Forests

Recently, the UNC Institute for the Environment’s Center for Public Engagement With Science, in collaboration with the Museum, conducted a half-day virtual academy on the topic of climate change and forests for students. Erin Apple, the Museum’s Coordinator of Youth Programs, demonstrated a prescribed burn at Prairie Ridge, described as “a highlight of the event.”
