Join us for our next Story Trail (modeled after StoryWalks®) featuring a variety of wildlife that you might see while exploring Prairie Ridge in the winter! With a “guess who?” component designed to engage young visitors, this self-guided Story Trail will take you on a short walk around Prairie Ridge, with all written components provided in both English and Spanish.
This self-guided Story Trail begins on the Prairie Trail right inside our entrance gates and is intended to be completed at your own pace. We recommend closed-toed shoes that can get muddy, and appropriate dress for the weather. Trails are mulch, dirt, or grass, and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our youngest visitors.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
