We can’t see them, but microbes are all around—and in!—us. They influence our bodies in wonderful and sometimes weird ways, shaping everything from our feelings to the way we smell and the foods we crave. Microbes also influence the behaviors of creatures, like house flies and the family cat, in our everyday lives. Dr. Eleanor Spicer Rice will reveal wild stories of microbial mind control and behavior manipulation happening on our bodies, in our homes, in our yards and on our food.
