Teen Science Cafe: Bugs on Screen — Communicating Science Online

  • Friday, November 03, 2023
  • 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Dr. Adrian Smith gives a talk in the SECU Daily Planet Theater at BugFest 2016.

Science can be exciting, confusing, and sometimes (especially if you study bugs) kinda gross. But, science is almost always interesting, especially if it’s presented in a way people can access and understand. The job of a science communicator is to translate and disseminate science to interested audiences. And it’s a job that can be done by many different people from many different professional backgrounds.
