Intuitive Surgical revolutionized Minimally Invasive Surgery over 25 years ago with their daVinci robot. 4 Generations of robots later, thousands of daVinci systems have been used to perform over 10 million surgeries worldwide.

The daVinci system is one of the best-known examples of a tele-surgery system, where doctors operate by using the surgeon controls at a console in order to move the surgical instruments which are attached to a robot. Join us to hear about the advantages of using robotics to assist in surgery.
