Medicinal chemist Dr. Brian Marron joins us to talk about how new drugs are discovered and developed, starting at the molecular level. With over 35 years of experience, he’s worked in multiple therapeutic areas including cancer, arthritis, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinsons Disease, metabolic diseases, and many others. Notably, he’s helped lead the discovery of selective sodium and potassium channel inhibitors and currently has four compounds that he’s work on in clinical trials.
