Art of Science: Squirrels and Air Dry Animal Sculptures

  • Saturday, April 11, 2026
  • 12:30pm - 3:30pm
  • Prairie Ridge

The Art of Science series is for adults who like to blend science and art. Each program will include hands-on experience with a citizen science project paired with an associated art project. Participants will take home their project, supplies, and any tools needed to complete the project.

In this program, we will explore documenting squirrels for science and make animal sculptures out of air dry clay. Instructions for collecting and submitting data and the sculpting project will be provided during the program – no experience required! Your program fee covers the supplies needed to make several small, unpainted animal sculptures.

Cost: $22, $20 Museum members
