Join host Chris Smith with NASA Solar System Ambassadors (SSA) and the Raleigh Astronomy Club at the Science Cafe! Will the planets align this year? What’s the best full Moon? First, we’ll hear from Tony Rice, who will share his top picks for not-to-be-missed astronomical events for 2023. Following, Mike Keefe and Doug Lively will talk about the ways space exploration has improved life on Earth and their favorite NASA technology spin-offs.

Before the program, food and nonalcoholic drinks will be available from the Daily Planet Cafe, and members of the Raleigh Astronomy Club will have a table to chat about Raleigh Astronomy Club, getting started in astronomy, and more.
