Prairie Ridge Summer Nature Adventures for Middle Schoolers (grades 6-8)

  • 8:30am Monday, June 19, 2023 - 12:30pm Friday, June 23, 2023

Put on your field scientist hats and let’s go! Whether looking for salamanders in our stream, catching dragonflies by the pond, or helping check nest boxes, each day we’ll dive into the different habitats of Prairie Ridge and the organisms that live in these spaces through hands-on, outdoor experiences. Each day will be unique, as we modify programming to reflect what’s going on in nature! Will we be searching for ladybugs? Helping collect data on our purple martin colony? Getting creative with nature art? Join us and find out!

Summer Nature Adventures for Middle Schoolers is a three-day, partial-day “mini-camp” for students entering grades 6 through 8 in Fall 2023.
