Program Full

Prairie Ridge Summer Nature Adventures for Early Elementary Students (grades K–2)

  • 8:30am Wednesday, July 05, 2023 - 12:30pm Friday, July 07, 2023

This program is currently full. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email emma.blackford@naturalsciences.org

Put on your field scientist hats and let’s go! Whether looking for salamanders in our stream, catching dragonflies by the pond or helping check nest boxes, each day we’ll dive into the different habitats of Prairie Ridge and learn about the organisms that live in these spaces through hands-on, outdoor experiences. Each day’s offerings will be unique, as we modify programming to reflect what’s going on in nature! Will we be searching for ladybugs? Helping collect data on our purple martin colony? Getting creative with nature art? Playing in the Nature PlaySpace? Join us and find out!

Summer Nature Adventures for Early Elementary Students is a three-day, partial-day “mini-camp” for students entering grades K–2 in Fall 2023.
