Visit Prairie Ridge for a guided tour of our Prairie Trail and pond. We will explore different plants, animals and habitat types as we enjoy a stroll down a short trail. We will also search for a glimpse of various bird species at our bird blind and any aquatic critters along the shore. Register in advance and meet us just inside our entry gates at 10:00am on December 2 to join the fun!
This program is geared toward children six and under, though everyone is welcome. You will walk on natural surface trails, so a rugged stroller or carrier is recommended for younger children. Dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes for this program. You are invited to enjoy the Nature PlaySpace following the program.
Because this program is child-focused, masks are required for all participants over the age of 5. Thank you for helping keep our children safe! We will observe social distancing recommendations and follow all state-mandated COVID restrictions. All children must be accompanied by a registered adult for the duration of the program. This program is limited to 25 people and registration is required.
