Come out to Prairie Ridge and explore various pollinators that live here – from bees and butterflies to birds and bats! Designed for early childhood audiences (ages 7 and under), this program will provide opportunities for hands-on activities and educational observations focusing on native pollinator species and the amazing ways they help the environment!
This is a free, drop-in program beginning at 10:00am in front of the Nature Neighborhood Garden. To find the garden, walk straight down the gravel path from the parking lot, following the gravel to the right as it heads towards a fenced-in garden space. Be sure to wear appropriate clothes for the weather and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day (but please pack out your trash!).
