Not A Stick StoryWalk®

  • Tuesday, September 20, 2022
  • 9:00am - 4:00pm

Visit Prairie Ridge for our next StoryWalk® featuring Not A Stick, by Antionette Portis.  Our story begins just inside our entry gates where you can select a “stick” to bring with you on your adventure.  Using your imagination, you may discover it’s Not A Stick after all!

Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy, appropriate dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day (but please pack out your trash!). This is a self-guided trail intended to be completed at your own pace.

For more information about StoryWalks® at Prairie Ridge, please contact Emma Blackford at emma.blackford@naturalsciences.org or 919.707.8737.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
