The NC Bird Atlas is a 5-year statewide community science project using the power of thousands of volunteer birders to map the distribution and abundance of birds in North Carolina. These observations will give researchers a comprehensive picture of our state’s bird populations. Scott Anderson, Bird Conservation Biologist with the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, will outline the purpose of the atlas, its progress thus far, and how you can contribute.
This is a Wake Audubon Society program. For more information, please contact Jeff Beane.
