The Killer Shrews movie poster.

When imagining a horror movie monster, the tiny shrew, weighing only about half an ounce, is not likely to come to mind. But in this 1959 flick these creatures prove deadly!Join us at our July “Museum Movie Night: Where Science Meets the Cinema,” where we will be featuring “The Killer Shrews.”

We will have Mike Cove, Museum mammalogist and rodent expert, to answer your questions and teach us more about the film’s terrifying villain: the shrew. After the show, stick around for movie trivia with the AV Geek.
