Lifelong Hike: Prairie Ridge

We will explore the grounds and trails of Prairie Ridge Ecostation to learn more about this outdoor environmental educational facility. We will learn about the transformation of an old cow pasture to a prairie grassland. We will explore the trees of the Jesse P. Perry Arboretum in addition to a nature garden and some aquatic habitats on site.

Please note: You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact, physician contact and health information (allergies, conditions, medications relevant to this field experience). Take a moment to gather this information before beginning your registration.

  • Fee: $15 per participant; $10 per member participant.
  • Requirements: Minimum age 18.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the trip, or if cancellation is made in one of the following ways at least two weeks prior to the trip date: Either in writing via email to Missy Chernick or through the Museum box office (919.707.9950). We cannot issue credits, rain checks, or transfers for these trips.
