Lifelong Hike: Confluence Natural Area

We’ll look for spring wildflowers on our hike in the Confluence Natural Area in Orange County.  This beautiful natural area, where the East and West Forks meet to create the main stem of the Eno River, has been designated as a Nationally Significant Natural Heritage Area.

Please note: You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact, physician contact and health information (allergies, conditions, medications relevant to this field experience). Take a moment to gather this information before beginning your registration.

  • Fee: $15 per participant; $10 per member participant.
  • Requirements: Minimum age 18.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the trip, or if cancellation is made in one of the following ways at least two weeks prior to the trip date: Either in writing via email to Missy Chernick or through the Museum box office (919.707.9950). We cannot issue credits, rain checks, or transfers for these trips.
