Program Full

Pungo Lake, in Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, is a hot spot for huge flocks of Tundra Swans and Snow Geese that spend their winter here before their long migratory flight back to the Arctic region. Bear sightings are likely here too as the area has one of the highest densities of Black Bears known.
