Lifelong Adventure: Geminid Meteor Shower

We will travel to the dark skies of Medoc Mountain State Park and stay up all night to catch the peak of the Geminid Meteor Shower, the grand finale of the 2015 meteor showers!  A warm fire and hot chocolate will be provided to keep you going all night!

Registration deadline is two weeks prior to trip start date. Trips failing to reach the minimum registration numbers by the deadline date may be canceled. Please call to check on trip status if interested in registering after the deadline.

  • Fee: $15 per participant; $10 per member participant.
  • Requirements: Minimum age 12 (minors must be accompanied by a registered adult).
  • Cancellation Notice: If the Museum cancels the program, the registrant will have the option of receiving (1) a credit toward a future Lifelong field program, or (2) a full refund*. If the registrant cancels their registration 7 days or more prior to the departure date, then a refund* (less $25 processing fee) or credit will be given. No refund or credit for reservations cancelled by the registrant less than 7 days before the departure date. *Registrants must submit a W9 form to receive a refund.
