Join us for our weekend exploration of the 154,000-acre Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in eastern North Carolina. We will ride through the refuge and other natural areas on the Museum bus with frequent stops to look for birds and other wildlife. Some stops will include short to moderate walks along trails. Black bears are commonly spotted in this area. We will also explore some natural areas on the Outer Banks.
