There are gnomes hiding all over Prairie Ridge! Can you find them?
Visit Prairie Ridge for this family-friendly scavenger hunt! The gnomes will be hiding in the prairie June 5–June 30 each day we are open. When you arrive, keep a lookout for the first gnome just past our entry kiosk. He has something to tell you: He knows which way the other gnomes have gone! Follow along for a gnome-led tour of Prairie Ridge!
Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy, appropriate dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for your smallest gnome-seekers. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day (but please pack out your trash!).
We strongly encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated for COVID-19 to continue wearing masks and practicing social distancing while visiting our facilities.
Face coverings are recommended while near others or in the restroom building for:
- Children between the ages of 5 and 12.
- Individuals who are not fully vaccinated.
If you are experiencing symptoms of illness, we ask that you postpone your visit.
