Do you have a high school student who loves the outdoors and is interested in biology, natural resources or wildlife science? Register below to have them join us for a day of exploration! We’ll explore different ways that scientists collect data about the natural world, helping us to understand the wildlife and natural landscapes around us. Participants will have opportunities to engage directly with a variety of field techniques throughout the day.
This is a one-day drop-off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation intended for teens entering grades 9–12 this fall (2024), and runs from 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, August 2. Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors, bring a packed snack and lunch, and be ready to have fun outside!
This program requires registration and costs $35 for Friends of the Museum Members and $40 for non-members. Partial scholarships available.
