Come explore Prairie Ridge from the viewpoint of a naturalist! From magnifying glasses to hand nets to nature play, we’ll spend the day exploring the natural world through different lenses as participants engage in meaningful hands-on learning and fun!
This is a one-day drop off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation intended for children entering grades 1–2 this fall (2024), and runs from 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, July 12. Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors, bring a packed snack and lunch, and be ready to have fun outside!
This program requires pre-registration and costs $35 for Friends of the Museum Members and $40 for non-members. Partial scholarships available.

Not able to join us on July 12? We’re also offering a Field Experience Friday – Nature Artists for this age group on July 26!
