Field Experience Fridays – Growing Naturalists!

  • Friday, August 16, 2024
  • 8:30am - 2:00pm

Do you have a middle schooler who is curious and questioning about the natural world? Join us for a day of exploration as we develop the skills of a naturalist. From magnifying glasses to binoculars, we’ll explore the different tools that naturalists and scientists use to study and learn more about the natural world, honing our observation skills as we get up close and personal with Prairie Ridge’s ecosystems!

This is a one-day drop off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation intended for children entering grades 6 through 8 in Fall 2024, running from 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, August 16th. Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors, bring a packed snack and lunch, and be ready to have fun outside!

This program requires registration and costs $35 for Friends of the Museum Members and $40 for non-members. Partial scholarships available.

Register here.
