Want to learn more about North Carolina’s butterflies – and how you can help document them for science?
This workshop will introduce you to North Carolina’s butterfly diversity, teach you how to identify butterflies, and show you how to become a community science butterfly monitor. This workshop begins in the Outdoor Classroom with an informational lecture, followed by time outdoors searching for butterflies and practicing survey techniques. Please bring close-focus binoculars if you have them!
