Hear what the latest research tells us about WHALES — from amazing new discoveries to ongoing conservation efforts to revealing prehistoric origins — with some of the nation’s top whale scientists in this four-part lecture series.
Tales of Whales: Why Conservation Matters
How do we save the whales? Join world-renowned conservation biologist and Duke University professor Dr. Andy Read as he takes us on a journey through time and space to explore this critical question. Drawing from a lifetime of work with some of the world’s most critically endangered whale species, Read will share stories of both the triumphs and challenges of whale conservation.
