Join us as we explore art outdoors, mixing natural materials with traditional art disciplines, testing new nature-based art techniques, and using inspiration from nature to create artistic masterpieces.
Each day will feature a different outdoor art activity – today’s activity is campfire watercolors! Join us as create mini campfires using watercolors and natural materials. As we make our own fires, we’ll learn about the use of prescribed fire at Prairie Ridge.
This drop-in program is designed for kids ages 7 and under and occurs outdoors from 10:30am – 11:30am at the picnic tables below the Nature PlaySpace. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Come dressed for the weather and prepared to get messy!
