June 11 is International Lynx Day, and we’re celebrating! Four species of lynx live in the wild in North America and Europe. They include the Eurasian lynx, Iberian lynx, Canada lynx, and the bobcat.
NCMNS Collections Manager for Mammalogy, Lisa Gatens, will talk about lynx and bobcats at noon in the Daily Planet Theater, where visitors will be able to see Museum specimens up close to learn about these special cats.
