Este evento completamente bilingüe (español-inglés), presentado por el Museo de Ciencias Naturales de Carolina del Norte, el Consulado General de México y RedGlobalMX Capítulo Raleigh, celebra y promueve la ciencia y la cultura.

Disfrutad de charlas fascinantes, exhibiciones interactivas y actividades prácticas con científicos y educadores. Explorad exhibiciones que combinan la ciencia con las tradiciones culturales y la historia, y participad en actividades educativas y divertidas para todas las edades.

Ya seáis entusiastas de la ciencia, estudiantes o simplemente curiosos, hay algo para todos. Este evento es abierto al público y gratuito.

VOLUNTARIOS

¿Quieres formar parte de nuestro equipo del Día de la Ciencia y la Cultura? ¡Participa como voluntario con nosotros! Existen muchas actividades para nuestros voluntatios, desde la logística (ayuda con la colocación y la recogida de las estaciones, servicio de comidas, conteo de visitantes, venta de camisetas, etc.), hasta participar en estaciones educativas, de manualidades y actividades para niños. ¡Una manera muy divertida de conocer a fondo el evento! Los voluntarios que trabajan dos o más turnos reciben almuerzo gratis.

Para ser voluntario hay que tener al menos 13 años de edad. Si tienes entre 10 y 13 años, puedes ser voluntario pero deberás estar acompañado en todo momento de uno de tus progenitores o tutores (el formulario deberá rellenarlo el adulto).

This fully bilingual (Spanish-English) event, which is presented by the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, the Consulate General of Mexico and the RedGlobalMX Raleigh Chapter, will celebrate and promote science and culture.Enjoy engaging talks, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities with scientists and educators. Explore exhibits blending science with cultural traditions and history and participate in fun educational activities for all ages.

Whether you’re a science enthusiast, student, or just curious, there’s something for everyone.

This event is open to the public and free of charge.

Volunteers

Want to be part of Día de la Ciencia y la Cultura? Volunteer with us! Volunteer jobs span logistics (set up, breakdown, meal service, counting visitors, etc.), running educational stations and kids’ crafts and activities! It’s loads of fun and you get an in-depth experience of the event! Volunteers who work two or more shifts get free lunch.

Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to volunteer without a parent. Volunteers must be at least 10 years old to volunteer with a parent (please have your parent/guardian fill out the form with you).
