Ever wonder what insects you’re seeing? Or where’s the best place to look for ladybugs? Come take a walk with us, and we’ll learn to identify some of the insects at Prairie Ridge, and show you the best places to find some of your favorites!
This program is for ages 8 and up, families welcome. Please dress for the weather and wear closed toed shoes – hat and sunscreen are recommended. We will meet at the entrance kiosk. No registration necessary.
“Be a Scientist” programs are specifically geared towards children ages 8 and up and their families, helping our youth gain knowledge and experience exploring nature and conducting citizen science!
