Join us for a Nature Walk! We’ll learn about the different plants, animals and insects that call Prairie Ridge home. We will also learn how to use the iNaturalist app to identify some of the things we see.
This program is for children ages 8 and up, families welcome. Please dress for the weather and wear closed toed shoes, hat and sunscreen are recommended. Downloading the iNaturalist app (free) ahead of time will be helpful but not necessary. We will meet at the entrance kiosk.
“Be a Scientist” programs are specifically geared towards children ages 8 and up and their families, helping our youth gain knowledge and experience exploring nature and conducting citizen science!
