From the original Civilian Conservation Corps to today’s modern movement, join us to learn how conservation corps programs connect the dots between conservation action and workforce development. Hear how Conservation Corps North Carolina is creating unique experiences for youth and young adults around the state to work and serve while building skills in land management, forestry, disaster recovery, species conservation, parks and recreation management, GIS, and so much more.

Throughout the month of April, the Lunchtime Discovery Series will recognize Earth Day. These live presentations will be held Wednesdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. and are hosted by the NC Museum of Natural Sciences Coordinator of Current Science Programs Chris Smith.
