  • 5:30pm - 6:30pm
  • Prairie Ridge

Prairie Ridge is happy to host researcher Dr. Ashleigh Bruns for a special research opportunity! Dr. Bruns is working to learn how creative activities help build psychological resilience, an area of research she believes will help improve counseling and lead to reduced stress, anxiety, and depression in counseling patients. Her study involves taking a before and after survey and the artistic components are creating a haiku and an origami crane. Dr. Bruns will lead participants through how to do the activities – no experience necessary! Snacks will be provided.

Join us to do a few fun, creative tasks to help improve counseling opportunities for people in need!

More information about the study, including IRB approval information, is available here.
